Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose valley – Todra Gorges – Sahara Desert
Setting out from your Hotel/Riad, our journey unfolds as we traverse the Road of Thousand-Kasbah en route to Sahara Desert. Along the way, we’ll meander through Skoura’s palm grove, the charming town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, and the captivating Dades Valley, offering ample opportunities for exploration and leisurely walks. Following a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant, our expedition continues towards Erfoud, renowned for its fossilized marbles. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore a workshop dedicated to crafting marble fossils. As we journey off-road to our hotel nestled at the foot of the dunes, the landscape unfolds in its rugged beauty. Dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await you in the tranquil ambiance of the hotel.
Day 2 : Exploring Sahara Desert Area & Camel Riding
Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on an enriching journey of discovery within the region. Begin by visiting the nomadic communities residing in their traditional goat hair tents, offering insight into the intricacies of desert life. Delve deeper into the cultural tapestry by meeting the Gnaoua people, originally hailing from Sudan as slaves. Here, immerse yourself in their music and absorb their unique culture and lifestyle. Depending on the season of your visit, a trip to the enchanting Merzouga lake may unveil its diverse bird population, including the elegant Flamingos. As afternoon descends, we whisk you away to the desert camp nestled within the Erg-Chebbi sand-sea. Prepare to be captivated by the sheer beauty of the Sahara desert, as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the golden dunes with hues of crimson and gold. Following this mesmerizing spectacle, indulge in a sumptuous dinner amidst the tranquil expanse of the camp, under a canopy of stars, enveloped by the allure of the desert.
Day 3 : Sahara Desert – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate
Awake at dawn to behold the breathtaking spectacle of the sunrise, as the dunes come alive with a kaleidoscope of colors and captivating shadows. Following breakfast at the camp, our journey carries on towards Ouarzazate via Rissani. Take a pause in Rissani to explore its renowned traditional Souk, celebrated as the largest in southern Morocco. From there, venture forth towards the picturesque Draa Valley, adorned with countless palm trees, creating a serene and picturesque landscape. As evening descends, we reach Ouarzazate, where you’ll be escorted to the hotel of your preference, marking the conclusion of our services.
