ITINERARY: 

1 Day : Arrival in Marrakech

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

2 Day : Marrakech – Marrakech

Explore the vibrant city of Marrakech with our comprehensive Marrakech City Tour guide. Immerse yourself in the captivating culture, visit historical landmarks, and discover the hidden gems of this enchanting Moroccan city. 3 Day : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

You will be picked up by a car from the accommodation and we start our Marrakech Sahara Desert tour. We take  our way to Ouarzazate. Cross the Atlas Mountains through the Tichka pass. At an altitude of 2260 meters, we will see the oasis, palm groves, kasbahs and the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. The environment is also an opportunity to appreciate the Berber villages and their way of life. We will drive through the world heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Considered a UNESCO center since 1987. 4 Day:Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Todra Gorge – Sahara Desert

After breakfast, we take the south-east direction, passing through 1001 kasbahs. We pass through the palm grove of Soura and through the Valley of the Roses we will go to the Todra Gorge. These gorges are world renowned for being one of the most spectacular rocky canyons. In some places the gorges are only 33 meters wide, but have cliffs over 100 meters high on each side of the river, then we continue our route through the town of Erfoud and arrive in the desert of Merzouga in the afternoon.

5 Day :Sahara Desert – Khamlia – Sahara

Erg Chebbi is one of the most beautiful dunes in the Merzouga desert in southeastern Morocco. Today will be the day of the desert. In the morning we discover the surrounding area of the dunes. We will visit some nomadic Berber villages that still live in tents. We will rest in an association of the Khamlia people from sub-Saharan Africa (Mali, Sudan…) to see and listen to their music. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel, and get ready to ride camels and sleep in the camp under a starry sky in the middle of the desert.

6 Day :Sahara – Taouz – Tafraoute

After returning from a pleasant camel ride to Merzouga. We started another day exploring, another deeper desert. We pass through the desert lands, the best and favorite tracks of the famous Paris Dakar Rally. Through the dunes of Ouzina and the lost villages with their sacred oasis we will go to the village of Tafraoute where we spend the night.

7 Day : Tafraoute – Zagora

After breakfast in the middle of nowhere, a new day begins. Always continue on the tracks out of the sand and rocky road until you reach the desert gate of Zagora. Near Zagora is the Koranic library, the craftsmen’s factory, and the Kasbah Subterranea de Tamegroute. We return to Zagora where we spend the night.

8 Day : Zagora – Draa valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will start our journey, passing through the magnificent Draa Valley. The longest river in Morocco, over 1200 kms long. Somewhere along the way, we turn off to go on a road that takes us into the heart of the valley’s palm grove. We enjoy the panoramic views and the adobe fortresses all the way to the small town Agdz. We cross the Anti Atlas mountain range, arriving in the afternoon in Ouarzazate.

9 Day : Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the kasbah of Taourirt. the Taourirt kasbah. It is considered a National Heritage Site and is therefore one of the most visited in Morocco. The all-powerful Lord of Atlas and his relatives owned properties throughout the southern part of the country. The Taourirt kasbah was one of them, and what is more, the Glaoui family had its origins here. Then we cross the High Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech.

10 Day Marrakech – Airport
